Village of Hope rescues the lives of former child solders, sex slaves and other vulnerable orphans in Northern Uganda. Our holistic approach is designed to prepare and inspire them to become productive citizens, ethical leaders and beacons for Christ in their communities and country.

Bobi Village

Home to VOH primary (elementary) school orphans and the staff who care for them, Bobi Village is self-contained with homes, a school, medical clinic, counseling center, church and a small agricultural project. Learn more...


Bweyale Village

The original Village of Hope, Bweyale Village is home to VOH orphans in secondary school (high school) and vocational school. Also self-contained – the village is complete with homes, two schools, medical clinic, counseling center, church and a large agricultural project. Learn More…


Higher Education

Because our Villages provide education through lower secondary school (high school), VOH youth who are college-bound or in higher education programs go to boarding or other schools in the region. Learn more…
