Student project teaches self-sustainability
One of our new self-sustainability projects, the poultry project will train VOH secondary students to raise and sell chickens. The chickens will also be a source of meat for their diets, which they are super excited about. The students cleared the land and built the coop. All we need now is your help to provide the equipment, chickens, feed and supplies. We will start with 300 chickens then 300 more when those are ready for sale. Our goal is for the program to self-sustain after the first two cycles.
